The Star Valley junior varsity football squad rebounded from a tough 22-16 loss to Gillette, by edging the Snake River Panthers, 14-12 in a Thursday evening road game.
At the same time, the Braves freshman team dropped a hard fought decision, 18-0 after trailing 6-0 at the half. Although coming up on the short end of the score, the freshman squad showed many positive signs, not the least of which was the nifty quarterbacking of Logan Abrams.
The Braves’ varsity team will be facing the Snake River Panthers in a 7 p.m. game Friday, a game that will be broadcast on KRSV Radio, 98.7 FM, 1210 AM.
