Kyle Crandall compiled over 240 yards passing along with four passing touchdowns as Evanston beat Star Valley for the first time since 2004.
Much of the damage was done with receiver Hazen Davis to finished the game with 11 catches and 184 yards as well as three of those scores. Star Valley, who trailed 20-0 at half, refused to give up however, and showed off some of their own offensive firepower.
Jordan Abrams accounted for 262 yards of total offense while rushing and passing for a touchdown. The touchdown through the air went to Logan Fitzgerald who finished with 94 yards receiving and a pair of touchdowns.
The Braves will now face off against Worland for a chance to host a playoff game next Friday. With Cody’s 45-14 defeat of the Warriors, the Braves will need a win and a Cody loss to Jackson next week to accomplish the task.
