New signage being placed in Star Valley Ranch

New street signs are going up this week around town.
The Town of Star Valley Ranch road crews are placing new street signs this week. The signs feature brown sign poles with brown sign blades and white street names.
“We are using highly reflective, 10-year warranty signs and are placing the signs at every intersection in the Town of Star Valley Ranch,” said Mayor Boyd Siddoway. “The signs and sign posts are being placed in accordance with state regulations.”
According to Siddoway, the design and color of the new signs was voted on by town residents. The brown sign blades make town road easily distinguishable from country road signs, which are green and white. And, the signs will help emergency personnel be able to better navigate the streets of Star Valley Ranch.
“Town crews have started to put up the anchors for the signs this week and hope to complete the project before the snow flies,” said Mayor Siddoway. “There are 150 intersections in the Town of Star Valley Ranch and 14 different official entrances to the town from county roads. So placing the signs is going to be a big project.”
