Kurt Sand and the Star Valley High School Marching Band will be performing their state performance routine Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m.

From a clutch pair of field goals, to a missed PAT by Powell, to a huge catch from Tim Hokanson, the 20-13 overtime win over the Panthers was a perfect example of late fall Wyoming fooball.

Not a lot of surprises, but some good tough football was the order of the day under the Friday Night Lights

It’s the first time in SVHS sports that a team from Casper has made the trip to play a conference game on Star Valley’s floor.  Despite the win, the top-ranked Fillies likely aren’t anxious to make a return trip.

The Town of Alpine is cautiously optimistic this week when it comes to sewer treatment. A special meeting was held last Thursday, Sept. 27 to lift the sewer moratorium that has been in place for months.

The Town of Star Valley Ranch road crews are placing new street signs this week. The signs feature brown sign poles with brown sign blades and white street names.
