As the temperatures drop to below freezing, residents from across the valley gather for the Parade of Lights over the Thanksgiving holiday in Afton. This year was extra special as the community officially welcomed back the 1041st Wyoming National Guard Unit after their year-long deployment in Iraq.

All the floats were based upon military themes and although the temperatures were seen at 28 degrees, the warmth of the holiday season was evident as the soldiers were given a loud ovation.
