Border War Beatdown: Braves bury top-ranked American Falls, 55-15
By Dahl E. Llama on Jan 17, 2008 in Sports
As a primer to the 32-team Tiger Grizz Tournament which begins Friday, the Braves got warmed up by stomping Idaho’s top-rated 3A squad on their home mat. Not bad for a Thursday night.
Star Valley was in total control Thursday evening as they rolled up an impressive 55-15 victory over American Fall, Idaho, continuing an undefeated duel streak in 2008.
The win was all the more impressive due to the fact that American Falls is the top ranked 3A squad in wrestling-rich Idaho.
The win should serve as a nice jump-off point for Star Valley who will have their hands full in the enormous Tiger Grizz, which features teams from Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Montana and Wyoming.
