A Moose Took up Residence at the Hospital
By Dan Dockstader on Mar 18, 2008 in Featured
Law enforcement and medical center officials weren’t sure if the moose was seeking medical attention or just found a secure home. Tuesday afternoon a cow moose found security in an enclosed area between Star Valley Medical Center and the Star Valley Care Center. Law enforcement officials responded to the scene but decided not to stress the animal and allowed it to rest in the area because it was not causing a problem. Late in the afternoon it left the hospital area and moved out to U.S. Hwy 89, but came back to the security of the enclosed area between the hospital and care center.
