Trust Fund Grants Should be Turned in, Roberts Chairs the Board

Grant applications for funding from the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust are due at the end of March. According to Trust Fund Chairman Delaine Roberts of Etna, the Board anticipates as many as 50 applications. Roberts says there are many projects coming in and there will probably be some the trust fund has not heard yet. Roberts says the Board would do an initial review of project applications in early April, then begin to determine which applications would need an on-site review. That determination will occur at the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust Fund meeting April 21 in Dubois. Following that, the Board will review projects in the field, with funding allocation made in June. Roberts says they are excited to see what people are doing around Wyoming and he noted it had been a pleasure serving on the board.
