Some coaching staffs will remain intact such as the Lady Braves volleyball team. Others, such as the Braves football staff, have undergone an overhaul.

The Idaho Falls District of the Bureau of Land Management and the Caribou-Targhee National Forest released a Record of Decision regarding the expansion of the Smoky Canyon Mine, Panels F & G. Their decision authorizes the J.R. Simplot Company to extend current open pit phosphate mining operations.

As residents of Star Valley can attest, the summer months are fleeting and weather can be uncooperative. Despite this limited number of days, work has commenced in earnest at SVHS where something special is the goal for those involved.

Close to 25 members of the Wyoming National Guard arrived in Weston County Saturday, June 7, to build a 26-foot long temporary bridge over a washed out county road. The request came to the Wyoming National Guard Friday to send personnel to put a bridge into place.
