Primary Election results point out winners and losers

While it still figures to be an intense election season as campaigns roll into November, some people with political aspirations saw their bids come to a close Tuesday night as primary election results from Lincoln County poured into the Independent.
Those running for various town council seats will all move on to the general election on November 4.
With all precincts reporting, the various elections saw the following results:
