Regional poaching case looking for public help

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking any information regarding a mule deer buck that was illegally shot and killed along the Middle Piney Road west of Big Piney sometime between Wednesday, Aug. 20 and Thursday, Aug. 21.
The mature buck mule deer carcass was discovered the morning of Friday, Aug. 22, approximately 18-miles west of Big Piney with the head removed. The buck’s antlers were likely still covered in velvet.
Anyone with possible information regarding this poaching incident, or other suspicious vehicles or activities, are encouraged to call the Pinedale Game and Fish office at 1-800-452-9107 or the STOP POACHING hotline at 1-877-WGFD-TIP (1-877-943-3847) or Big Piney Game Warden, Adam Hymas at 307-276-3359.
Any information leading to the arrest and conviction may result in a reward of up to $5,000.00.
