BREAKING NEWS – Working with the cooperation of several agencies, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s department apprehended Randy Curtis Gibbons, a fugitive out of Utah and Arizona for aggravated sex offenses against children.

Gibbons, who has been on the run from the law for ten years, is wanted on eight felony counts in Utah and ten felony counts in Arizona.

The Sheriff’s Department acted on a citizen’s tip to arrest Gibbons on Monday.

“This is someone in our community that needed to be put away,” stated Sheriff Shane Johnson.  “There are victims and family members who have been waiting nearly ten years for some justice with this person.”

Johnson specifically acknowledged the efforts of Jody Gardner during the process of finding Gibbons.
