The Lincoln County Library system invites you to drop by the Alpine, Thayne or Afton branch and pick up a free copy of the book, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. 

This 1943 classic is the featured title in One Book, One Community, a reading event designed to have people countywide reading and talking about the same book. Brenda McGinnis, Director of the Lincoln County Library System reports there are a limited number of copies, and they are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
