Dan Dockstader sat down with Afton’s Bill Hoopes.  Hoopes spent 39 years in the National Guard, 35 of which was in Star Valley.  He has spent the last several years involved with the families of Wyoming Guard members who are deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hoopes spoke with the Independent about his time in the National Guard, his 35 years as an educator and his 20 + years as a coach with various sports programs in the valley.
