Since splitting from Intermountain Health Care (IHC) in 1999, Star Valley Medical Center has expanded their pool of employees from 67 to over 230, pumping more than $8 million into the economy on a yearly basis in the form of wages.

The Star Valley Independent sat down with SVMC Director of Human Resources, Joel Johnson, and discussed some of the big changes the hospital has undergone in the last nine years, as well as some of the ideas and concepts for the future.
