For Hayden Heap, his third straight event title isn’t just impressive, it’s borderline all-time.
After winning crowns at the Rollie Lane, the Richardson Memorial and now the 2009 version of the Tiger Grizz, Heap certainly won’t sneak up on anyone in Casper this year.
Heap won the 103 pound weight class at the Grizz last year as a sophomore.
Heap was one of four Braves’ placers at the Tiger-Grizz in a ninth place finish. Star Valley had to suffer through a less than stellar first day but still came through with a trio of third place finishes. Josh Claye at 103, Dakota Dana at 130 and Paul Woodie at 215 all battled thorugh fierce competition to win their final matches of the tourney.
