The Star Valley Braves put their varsity wrestlers out on the mat against the Bear Lake Bears in order for their fans to get another look at the home team. After it was all said and done, the Braves didn’t disappoint.

The Braves piled up five pins and a technical fall en route to a 50-16 drubbing over their regional rivals. The duel was part of a three-way event that saw Cokeville and Bear Lake invade Star Valley High School. Individually, Brandon Aullman at 130 pounds, Dakota Dana at 135 pounds, Mark Van Slyke at 145 pounds, Paul Woodie at 215 pounds and Casey Wolfley at Heavyweight collected wins by way of fall, while Hayden Heap defeated his opponent 16-2 in a technical fall

The top-ranked 2A Cokeville Panthers, led by SVHS grad Marty Linford, rolled over the Star Valley junior varsity, 54-19.  The Panthers also won convincingly over the Bears to win both of their duels.

Up next for the Braves is a trip to a new tournament on their slate, the Rollie Lane Invitational in Boise, Idaho which will take place Friday and Saturday
