It may seem odd to anyone who drives in a state other than Wyoming, but all of the effort put forth on the Nugget Canyon deer underpasses appears to be paying off, saving anywhere from 200-300 deer in highway accidents alone.
According to Neil Hymas, Cokeville Game Warden and Hall Sawyer, Research Biologist with WEST Inc. These underpasses along Highway 30 will greatly reduce the exposure to vehicle collisions for this segment of the Wyoming Range Mule Deer Herd.
Cameras installed to monitor the progress, the new images show that the underpasses are indeed becoming a veritable thoroughfare of activity for the areas deer. According to officials, roughly 700 deer pass through the areas every week.

Seems to me that this might be a good place to hunt?
