Cody Roberts sentenced

Cody Roberts of Thayne was sentenced on Wednesday April 22, 2009.
Roberts pled guilty to aggravated assault and manslaughter earlier this year in the death of his stepson. The boy was killed in August 2007.
District Court Judge Jeffrey A. Donnell sentenced Roberts to serve up to 18 years in prison.
Roberts entered an “Alford plea” in the case, not admitting to the charges but acknowledging there was enough evidence to convict him.
