Making plans for a commercial zone.
The Star Valley Ranch Planning and Zoning Board is seeking public input from the community’s residents on a new commercial zoning ordinance. The board is working on a public survey scheduled for distribution in July. Survey results will provide information to the ranch’s P&Z board and town council on the direction the community should take with commercial zoning.

Preparing the course.
Afton continues preparation work on the new 18-hole Johnny Miller designed course south of the community. Darin Neuenschwander, golf course representative for the town, says work this spring has included further design of holes 10, 11, 17 and 18. As design work is completed the holes will be seeded with grass.
