Golfers compete in Riverton

The linksters of Star Valley High were the first teams to begin the varsity season with their work at the Riverton Invitational.
The Lady Braves placed fifth as a team with the trio of Haley Norman, Mesa Pheiffer and Kylie Bennett. Green River took top honors for the girls side of the bracket.
The Braves watched hometown Riverton run away with first place in boy’s competition with Evanston finishing second. Star Valley had to settle for tenth place in the 12-team field.
Up next for the golf team will be a pair of tournaments in Powell and Cody.
