The Wyoming Department of Family Services expects to see an increase in the number of households seeking help from various aid programs this year.
DFS Economic Assistance Administrator Heather Babbitt said the poor economy is forcing more people to turn to government aid for food, heating bills and telephone service.
The agency said it’s committed to creating more awareness of the issues and the services available to Wyoming residents and families who qualify.
Information about programs is available at www.dfsweb.state.wy.us.
