Weather Forecast, Stormy with SNOW, to-day
Thayne news: Did any one feel the earth quake last Monday. Marion Heap was out looking for an expert to set up a new cook stove he had ordered from Denver, he said it was a dandy, but to much for his diminutive intellect.
Etna news: Our threshing is done. Burning sage brush is now in order and some of our people are making the families do much of the work attendance upon cleaning. Some of our people are going and some have gone to Soda Springs and Snake River for flour, fruit, etc. Some plowing being done. All well.

This is wonderful look back at the history and progression of the SVI. Amazing! Being new to the area, it is so interesting to finally learn what that loud honking noise at 6 pm is. Imagine a 1/2 gallon ice cream and 2 L soda for 2.29. So interesting!
