A single rollover accident on Highway 238 west of Afton resulted in the deaths of two Star Valley residents on Thursday morning.
The accident is still under investigation by the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) but initial reports stated that the driver and a passenger of a car traveling on Highway 238 took a corner too fast and caused the vehicle to roll, killing both people.
The names of the victims are being withheld until family is notified and the incident continues to be scrutinized by the WHP.

This breaks my heart. The kids in this Valley have dealt with more loss in the last three years of their friends than most of us have as adults! I don’t know how they are going to recover from all this. This really is tragic.. again.. These kids.. will be very missed and were loved.. My prayers go out to the Families and the kids in the Valley (and beyond) who are dealing with this…

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these two young men. It was a tragic accident and the loss will be felt by many.
May the families and friends have the love and support of friends and each other as they deal with this loss and the pain it has caused.
I am so sorry for your loss. Know that the rescuers did everything they possibly could for these young men. They too feel the loss.
