The Town of Thayne has been awarded a grant from the Wyoming Department of Transportation. The grant will assist with landscaping on and around the Thayne canal area adjacent to Highway 89.
According to Thayne Town Clerk Joan Jensen, the grant will provide the community with $40,000 and requires a 10 percent match from the town.

The Town of Thayne is soliciting landscaping proposals for the Thayne Canal. Proposals will be reviewed over the next few months. Work on the beautification project will begin in the spring of 2010.
