A light earthquake occurred Thursday, April 15 in eastern Utah and was felt in much of southwestern Wyoming. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage associated with the event.

A Colorado Springs woman and her two children are safe and a suspect has been arrested after a high speed chase began south of Casper. Interstate 25 on the north edge of Casper was temporarily closed at the time due to a two vehicle crash that brought the chase to a close.

The University of Utah Seismograph Station based in Salt Lake City reports a 4.9 magnitude earthquake on Thursday, April 15, at 5:59 p.m. The quake was located five miles northeast of Randolph, Utah.
