The BYU Ballroom Dance Company will perform in Star Valley on Saturday, Jan. 22. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Star Valley High School Auditorium.  Tickets for the performance are $12 each and are available online at starvalleyarts.org or at the door the night of the event. Family tickets are $40 and will only be available at the door on Saturday evening.  The performance is sponsored by the Star Valley Arts Council.
The 90 minute showcase, entitled “Capture the Magic,” features a wide variety of dances ranging from the Viennese Waltz to the West Coast Swing. Solo performances, small group and full company numbers are included in the program.

The BYU Ballroom Dance Company is the current U.S. and British National Champion in both modern formation and Latin formation dance.

The dance company is part of the Department of Dance of the College of Fine Arts and Communications at Brigham Young University.
