With four SVHS graduates currently on the roster, the University of Wyoming Track & Field team has already had some impressive contributions from Star Valley over the past two seasons.  This weekend, Tyler Skinner (Class of 2009) and Kirsten McKen (Class of 2010) both had terrific outings, finishing with personal bests.  McKen won the 800 meter run at the Fum McGraw Triangular in Fort Collins, Colo., with a time of 2:20.01.  Skinner, who has won for UW at the high jump pit during the indoor season where he earned Mountain West All-Conference recognition, cleared the seven foot mark for the first time with a leap of 7 feet, 1/4 inch.   According to the University’s website, this places him as fourth all-time on UW’s outdoor list.  Click here to visit the site and see complete meet results.
