Funeral Services for Donn Wooden

A viewing for Donn Wooden will take place on Friday, February 24, from 6-8 p.m. at the Schwab Mortuary in Thayne. Funeral services for Mr. Wooden will take place on Saturday, February 25, at the Thayne LDS Stake Center beginning at 12:30 p.m. A viewing will take place for family to greet friends prior to the services from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Services are expected to last until approximately 2 p.m. Mr. Wooden will then been interred in the Alpine Cemetery between 2:30 -3 p.m.

Donn & his family meant so much to our family. We were so sad to hear of his passing. Our mother, Ethel Jensen, would be so sad to know (she has Alzheimer’s now) Pat & family, you are in our hearts and prayers. We were blessed to know, work and be friends with Donn. God Bless….

Donn was a lifetime friend. His passing will make a hugh hole in the community of Alpine. He had a heart of gold. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen Donn help out someone who was down and out. I know the Lord will bless him for all he did for others. Both MaryLue and I will miss him greatly. Pat and family, only you know the hugh loss now that Donn has passed. May the Lord be with you all.
