I am so sad to hear of Robert’s passing. He is one of my all-time favorite people! I had the adventure of working in Jackson Hole one summer, and what a privilege it was getting to know him and his family! Robert was such a hard worker and had a heart of gold. I watched him help so many that summer and I will never forget his example. One of my favorite memories was riding around the town square in the stage coach while he would tell me stories about his Grandpa Clark (my great-grandpa. What a priceless experience that was for me! He was so proud of his heritage and family! I am so sad that I can’t be there Saturday, but my thoughts and prayers are with that wonderful Humpherys family!

Robert was always a good friend to me I am sorry I couldn’t attend his funeral. I always found him to be easy going with a quick smile for all. It is sobering to see you old classmates kicking off like this. He was much too young but none of us know the time or place. Peggy and I would like to extend our condolences to his family.

Although I was born in Afton I didn’t meet Robert until he moved to Las Vegas. We were in the same ward for several years. He was always bringing food and other stuff to those he thought others needed or could use. He was a joy to be around. My fondest memory of Robert was at a Stake Pioneer Day at Warm Springs. He brought a carriage and a team of horses and spent the day giving everyone rides around the grounds. He talked me into getting up into the drivers seat and taught me how to handle a team and help others to enjoy their carriage ride, We miss him and his family here in vegas. The world is a better place because of him.
