Rainey claims three titles on the home hill

The older established riders from Star Valley continued to impress and a large, young, new crew from the area kept climbing the standings. The 2013 Simplot/Afton Hill Climbs saw the Star Valley riders rack up 24 top-ten finishes and four event championships.
Luke Rainey had a stellar weekend, winning the Pro 700 Stock and 800 Stock as well as the Open Modified category. He also had three other top-five finishes, including second-place in the 1000 Stock and the King of the Hill run.
Kaycee Balls won the Women’s Modified edition and placed second in the Women’s King of the Hill run. Brandon Titensor had a terrific weekend with five top-ten rides that included a second place finish in the Pro 700 Stock to Rainey. Find full hill-climb results by clicking here.
