Wild horse adoption in Rock Springs

The first Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming wild horse adoption of the year will be held at the Rock Springs March 8 and 9. The adoption will feature horses gathered from the North Lander Wild Horse Herd Management Area Complex east of Riverton, Wyo., in November 2012. On Friday, March 8, from 12-3 p.m., potential adopters will be able to preview the wild horses available at the Facility, ask questions of BLM specialists and fill out an adoption application. On Saturday, March 9, the adoption will begin at 8 a.m. Untrained weanlings, geldings and mares from the North Lander Complex will be showcased.
