In the early morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 local law enforcement officers participated in a Star Valley drug bust.
The agencies involved included the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the Afton Police Department, the Bear River Drug Task Force and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
According to information provided by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a “series of arrest and search warrants” were executed.
Five Star Valley men were arrested and charged “with a total of 60 counts of violations of the Wyoming Controlled Substances Act, stemming from a multi-month methamphetamine investigation.”
The men arrested as part of the drug operation were Brian Beck, of Alpine; Anthony Nield, of Auburn; Dane Jacobson, of Afton; Armand Mullendore, of Afton; and Van Astle, of Osmond.
“Despite the arrests, the investigation is ongoing and law enforcement in Lincoln County would like to encourage anyone with information related to the possession, manufacture or distribution of controlled substances to please call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Shane Johnson.
