Look at the history…. the majority of people who have commented on a winter use plan for YNP over the past 10 years or so, want no or fewer snowmobiles! It is about the experience as well as the air quality and safety of the wildlife. There are plenty of opportunties for snowmobilers to ride outside the park. The fewer the better for all! We should limit the number of cars in the park the rest of the year as well!

So you want to reduce air pollution in the Park? I was just there last weekend and got into the biggest traffic jam I’ve EVER seen in Wyoming! It took an hour to go 7 miles. I propose we disallow cars in the summer, and snowmobiles in the winter. Then there won’t be any pollution! Of course, there will be no one to appreciate it, but all of the tree huggers will be happy.
