    I am filled with joy! I am truly grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. I can’t wait for the day to do temple work for my ancestors here in Star Valley.

    He possibly means that this temple will bring people to visit Star Valley, which will help the economy, and therefore, the residents. Or perhaps Allred feels like the exquisite architecture of a temple will beautify the valley for everyone.

    You see non members and residents of Star Valley this is a good time for you to meet the missionarys and be a part of the true church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and receive blessings for the right to have a recomend to go to the temple. If your not a member and you own a bussiness in Afton you will be very rewarded with customers who come to the templein your city. So its a reward both ways. Enjoy and have fun.

    Good job, Dahl. No real details have emerged, so the brevity of the article belies the importance of the news.

    Perhaps it’s not the function of a newspaper, but I’d be fascinated to see a follow-up about all the legends, stories, rumors and myths surrounding “prophecies” of a temple in Star Valley. Does the historical society have any contemporaneous writings about Moses Thatcher and the site he is said to have suggested?

    THE BLESSING OF HAVING A TEMPLE WILL AT LEAST ONE WAY IS THE SPIRIT WILL BE FELT EVEN A LIITLE STRONGER BY ALL! (THO SOME MIGHT NOT REALIZE IT). IF THE LORD WILLING, MAY THE LORD FLOOD THE AREA WITH HIS SPIRIT SO STRONG THAT IT WILL FEEL LIKE THAT IT IS OVER FLOWING!
