Lincoln County is moving forward with plans for a new detention center. This month the county commissioners signed a resolution “authorizing the expenditure of funds prior to the formation of a joint powers board and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance a detention center project.”

On Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, Vicky True was sentenced on four felony counts relating to the embezzling case at the Star Valley Senior Center. True was sentenced to serve not less than one year or more than four years in the Wyoming State Women’s Prison in Lusk.
