CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Gov. Dave Freudenthal credited hard work and tough decision making for keeping the state in financial health and addressed several legislative proposals in his annual State of the State address Monday morning in front of the Wyoming legislature.

The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) announced today an error has lead to potential online exposure of personal information provided by clients and applicants of the Wyoming Kid Care CHIP program.

The Star Valley basketball squads both won against visiting Green River.  The win gave the Lady Braves a weekend split while the Braves swept their Sweetwater County opponents over the weekend.

Rock Springs came in at 12-4 on the season and the second highest scoring team in class 4A.  While the Tigers hit their scoring average, the Braves were able to ride a fourth quarter run to a victory.

Joe Gans from Chaska, Minn., placed first with a time of 4:08:42 during Day Five of the 2010 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR).

An earthquake was felt Feb. 2 in Yellowstone National Park, according to the Wyoming State Geological Survey, (WGS).

The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race arrives in Alpine tonight for a “Meet the Mushers” banquet at 6 p.m. in the Alpine Fire Hall.

Blayne “Bud” Streeper, age 27, from Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, posted the fastest time on Day Two of the 2010 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR) with a time of 2:54:22. Streeper, winner of the 2004 IPSSSDR, ran 12 dogs and averaged 14.8 MPH on the windy trail outside Lander.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Gov. Freudenthal encouraged Wyoming Legislators to spearhead efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution and restore the Founding Fathers’ intended balance of power between federal and local governments Thursday.
