Robert Julian McClure, Jr., was sentenced on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in the Third Judicial District Court.
According to court documents, McClure will serve “not less than three years, nor more than seven years.” McClure will be incarcerated in the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins.

A 51-year old Alpine man has been charged in the killing of a fellow Alpine man.  Clair Nichols appeared in Circuit Court in Kemmerer where he was formally charged for the murder of David Reneker acccording to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

FORT HOOD, Texas – Father’s Day was bitter-sweet this year for thousands of Soldiers deploying with the 115th Fires Brigade as they marked the official end to the pre-deployment process in Fort Hood, Texas.

The Star Valley Braves have had an up close and personal look at Natrona graduate, Michael Dietz, over the past two seasons.  The Mustang standout committed to the University of Wyoming during his junior year.  Now after arriving on campus, Dietz has left program.

A collision between a motorcycle, with two riders aboard, and a pronghorn on Saturday afternoon, June 20, resulted in serious injuries to the passenger and minor injuries to the driver.

Officials are searching for the body of a Utah man who apparently committed suicide by jumping off the edge of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone Tuesday afternoon.

Eight candidates have filed for District Three in the Lower Valley Energy Member-Owned Cooperative Service area. This district includes the Lower Star Valley area and south of Jackson, but all Lower Valley Co-op members may vote.

The Wyoming Department of Health reports that the number of laboratory-confirmed cases of swine flu, the H1N1 virus has risen to 47 in the state.
