A small earthquake rattled its way through Western Wyoming on Wednesday, Aug. 4. The quake occurred at approximately 6:04 p.m. and was felt in Teton, Park, Sweetwater, Sublette and Lincoln Counties.

Car accident claims the life of local man »

A car accident on Sunday evening, Aug. 1, 2010, has claimed the life of Clint Robertson, 29. Two others, Beau Nicoll, 19, and David Crook, 19, were injured in the crash. The accident is under investigation from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Deadline for hospital and school board filing drawing near »

The filing period for candidates interested in serving on either the Lincoln County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees or the North Lincoln County Hospital District Board of Trustees will begin next week. Filing dates are Aug. 4-23.

Snake River claims life »

Saturday, July 24, 2010 the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and Star Valley Search and Rescue responded to the “Lunch Counter” rapids area of the Snake River. Reports had come in that a man had been swept downstream by the river.
