Both branches of the Star Valley basketball program sent their counterparts from Riverton home on Thursday evening.

Wyoming Governor, Dave Freudenthal, has announced to state legislators that he has decided not to run for re-election this year.

An explosion that occurred at approximately 12:30 this morning completely destroyed a home at the north end of Star Valley Ranch. 

Hayden Heap became Star Valley’s first two-time 4A state champion with a 4-3 thriller over Tanner Olson of Gillette, while Casey Wolfley shocked the field by claiming the title at 215.

The Braves have 15 wrestlers who have secured a top-six finish.

The battle continues for many Star Valley wrestlers.

The Braves have had some good team success in the wrestlebacks Saturday morning, but inevitably the season came to a close for some.

Three Braves punched their ticket to the finals on Friday night, but no fewer than four more saw their chance evaporate in their matches’ final moments.

The Championship Quarterfinals is now  complete.

Midway through the opening round of the 4A State Wrestling Tournament the Braves have had success, winning nine matches and losing twice.
