Friday afternoon, June 26, 2009 the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office as well as medical personnel from Star Valley were dispatched to the Snake River area. A report had come in regarding an overturned raft.

A weekend boating accident has claimed the life of an Idaho man. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Arthur Craig McCuistion, age 50 from Rexburg, was pronounced dead at St. John’s Hospital in Jackson on Saturday.

A 51-year old Alpine man has been charged in the killing of a fellow Alpine man. Clair Nichols appeared in Circuit Court in Kemmerer where he was formally charged for the murder of David Reneker acccording to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
