Lina Gladh from Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, placed first with a time of 4:35:11 during Day Six of the 2010 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR) at Kemmerer.

Joe Gans from Chaska, Minn., placed first with a time of 4:08:42 during Day Five of the 2010 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR).

From prom dresses for teenagers and dance dresses for young adults to wedding gowns and all their many accessories, the cost of looking one’s best on one particular occasion can be steep.

Teams of the International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race are making the 54-mile run along the Greys River today.

The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race arrives in Alpine tonight for a “Meet the Mushers” banquet at 6 p.m. in the Alpine Fire Hall.

Blayne “Bud” Streeper, age 27, from Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, posted the fastest time on Day Two of the 2010 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR) with a time of 2:54:22. Streeper, winner of the 2004 IPSSSDR, ran 12 dogs and averaged 14.8 MPH on the windy trail outside Lander.

The location for the Lincoln County Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 27, has been changed to the Cokeville High School Auditorium, on 300 Pine Street in Cokeville.

Austin Maddox  is in need of a heart transplant.  Funds for medical expenses that go towards this end will be raised at Bellos Italian Grill / Ridge Rider Lounge in Alpine on Monday, January 25, at 6p.m.

Dr. Martha Hageman and Dr. Christian Morgan will be on hand to discuss several matters pertaining to women’s health this weekend.

The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race (IPSSSDR) occurred through Wyoming to Park City, Utah, starting January 29 and ending February 6.
