Well, with the Governor in town, the nation celebrating it’s birthday and yours truly with a busy schedule, I forgot my new Friday sports trivia.  Well, here’s your makeup question -

While the title may say Afton, indeed the first six members of the Afton Heritage Committee’s Hall of Fame did much more than simply stay in Afton.  They founded the very basis for life in Star Valley and went a long way towards determining the stability of this area.

The high snowpack accumulated in the winter of 2008, combined with the spring rain and snow showers have produced an abundance of water in Star Valley.

In an interview with NBC’s Tom Brokaw on Saturday, Gov. Dave Freudenthal and Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter discussed the upcoming presidential race, the pressing need for a federal energy policy and the importance of coal to the national economy.

The word itself is a blight on the English language. Cancer. It’s unwelcome meaning frightens the public when it is mentioned as news reports of it’s devastating effects are a daily occurrence in today’s 24-7 information deluge.
