Both the Braves and Lady Braves opened up their conference play 1-0 over Riverton and ten wrestlers have moved into the quarter-finals of the Tiger-Grizz Tournament in Idaho.

Four-time defending Wyoming 2A champion Cokeville battled to a 45-22 dual victory over Star Valley’s first junior varsity in wrestling action on Wednesday evening.

Star Valley High School has boasted a strong music program in many different areas such as band, choir and orchestra.  Recently the latter brought home a very prestigious finish from a high-quality competition held annually in Colorado.

In a stealthy production, the students, faculty and administration for Star Valley High School as well as administration officials honored not only the music program for their recent accolades, but also for SVHS Principal, Shannon Harris, who was named Wyoming’s Principal of the year for 2009.
