The SVHS basketball programs claimed victory in all four games played against their rivals to the north from Jackson last Friday night.
The Lady Braves scored the game’s first 22 points as they led wire to wire in a 53-37 win. Sophomore Lindi Moore had the game-high of 14 while Shay Schwab had 13 and Shelbey Brog finished with 12. Shayla Patterson had nine rebounds. Moore and Savannah Lucero each had four steals. The win moved the team to (5-7) overall and (3-2) in the 3A West. Nikky Johnson led Jackson with 11 points and five rebounds.
The junior varsity girls won their game 44-19
The Braves used a hot shooting night from Cole Critchfield to pull away from the Broncs for a 53-29 victory. The Star Valley junior scored 18 of his 21 points in the first half as the Broncs hit on just one three pointer for the evening. Critchfield and Robby Smith each had five assists and Bronson Muir had eight points. Trace Haderlie finished with seven rebounds. Jackson was led by Tristan Shockley who had seven points.
The junior varsity boys won 56-47.
The teams host Mountain View Friday night with the JV tipping at 4 p.m. The varsity girls and boys will follow immediately afterward.
