The annual Star Valley Medical Center Health and Safety Expo will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place in the south community exhibit building at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
“We are going to have lots of great health and safety booths,” said Pamela Wolfley of Star Valley Medical Center. “In addition to a bike rodeo, child fingerprinting, K-9 unit and multiple booths covering a multitude of health and safety topics, we also have a helicopter coming from the University of Utah. Wyoming Highway Patrol will be there to do safety checks on car seats and bike helmets.”
The Star Valley Medical Center Charitable Foundation will be offering an obstacle course for kids, and SMVC will provide a free blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol and glucose check for all who are interested in obtaining a general health screening.
“This general health screening can be done ‘while you wait’ at the Health and Safety Expo and the results will be ready to take home that day,’ Wolfley said.
