A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of perpetrators and the recovery of stolen items from Rocky Mountain Service. The business is owned by Rob Erickson and is located one mile south of Afton.
According to the Erickson family, a window to the shop was broken in order to allow the perpetrator(s) to gain access to the building. The theft occurred Saturday or Sunday night.
Items taken from the shop included: electric hand tools, grinders, drills, a chop saw, welding leads, two Husqvarna chain saws, a new Honda motor and four nearly new snow tires.
In addition, a number of miscellaneous tools and supplies were removed from the building.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
