Alpine business owner, Neil Anderson, died Tuesday afternoon when his pickup veered off Highway 26 near Palisades reservoir.
Anderson was heading east back to Alpine on July 8 from Idaho Falls when his truck struck the guard rail. The truck then went down the embankment and rolled. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time and was thrown from the vehicle.
According to the Idaho State Police, an autopsy is being performed to determine if other health-related factors such as a heart attack took place just prior to the accident.
