One of the men accused of killing Utah Transit Authority (UTA) worker Kay Porter Ricks has been found dead in his jail cell Monday, July 25. Flint Wayne Harrison, 52, of Pinedale was found hanging in his cell by deputies in the Davis County Jail. The nursing staff was also involved in the discovery according to a report from KSL.com.
Ricks, a Utah Transit Authority employee, was reported missing on May 13. His body was located in Lincoln County on Tuesday, May 17 approximately 18 miles outside of Kemmerer near the Carter cutoff. Tuesday, June 28, Lincoln County Attorney, Spencer Allred, filed first degree murder charges against Flint Wayne Harrison and D.J. Harrison in relation to the case. The Harrisons were also facing felony charges for kidnapping as well as for taking/disposing of property in Davis County Utah.
