The National Council for Home Safety and Security has released their annual report, naming Worland as the safest city in Wyoming. With a population of 5,335, it only experiences 1 violent crime and 57 property crimes per year, according to the report.
Laramie finished in 2nd with 1 instance of violent crime and 16 reported cases of property crime per 1,000 people, respectively.
Rounding out the top 5 were Jackson, Cody and Green River.
Rock Springs finished 10th on the list. Evanston was 12th, Cheyenne 15th.
The rankings were compiled based on FBI data, with crime rates per 1,000 people. Any community smaller than 5,000 people were not included in the rankings.
