Roads that were closed for the winter in Yellowstone National Park are scheduled to reopen this weekend.
The Casper Star Tribune reports that roads opening at 8 a.m. Friday include Mammoth Hot Springs to Norris, Norris to Madison, Madison to Old Faithful, Madison to the West Entrance and Norris to Canyon Village. The rest of the roads will open in early May.
During the winter Yellowstone closes about 320 miles of road and plows them open in the spring, according to the Associated Press.
Road construction will also resume between Mammoth Hot Springs and Norris with delays up to 30 minutes.
