The Braves pitched their first shutout of the season as they blanked the Worland Warriors in a 42-0 homecoming game win. It was the third consecutive time in the series that Star Valley has held Worland scoreless.
The Cody Broncs battled with the Green River Wolves in a hard-fought 20-13 loss on the Wolves field.
Although the Broncs will have the home field, it has been a comfortable place for Star Valley over the course of the last quarter-century. The Braves have won ten straight games in Cody dating back to the 1991 state championship game which was won by the Broncs, 25-7.

▪SVHS Cross-Country – The distance posse competed in the Bob Firman Classic in Boise, Idaho last weekend. The Braves placed 6th in the Elite race, the Lady Braves placed 3rd in the Division 2 Varsity Race. Members of the varsity will be in Washington State to run in the Twilight meet just outside of Seattle. Others will be in Shelley, Idaho.
▪SVHS Volleyball – The Lady Braves are on the road this evening in Mountain View to face the Buffalos with a full slate of matches from the freshman, JV and varsity.
▪SVHS Football – The freshman defeated Bear Lake 37-28 at Braves Field on Thursday evening. The junior varsity team lost to the Lyman varsity, 32-6 on the road.
