The Bridger Teton National Forest area closure issued August 7, 2017 remains in effect. Forest users are reminded to be alert for heavy vehicle traffic from firefighters on narrow roads and to stay out of the closure area.

Wade Richard Farrow was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Tony Hansen. He was found not guilty of aggravated assault charges relating to Melanie Pumphery. Farrow now likely faces a sentence of at least 20 years in the state penitentiary.
